Cal, El & Partners is a firm of Advocates & Solicitors, admitted to practise before all courts of Malaysia. Our Partners are members in good standing of the Malaysian Bar and are bound by the Legal Profession Act 1976 and the rules and rulings of the Bar Council Malaysia.

Bar Admissions & Memberships
Both Partners hold qualifying law degrees recognised for admission to the Malaysian Bar.
Our Partners hold either the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) — the respective qualifying examinations for Malaysian and UK legal practice.
Both Partners hold UK law degrees and professional qualifications — LL.B (Hons) University of Sheffield and BPTC Northumbria University — bringing internationally-trained legal rigour to Malaysian practice.
Calvin Lau previously served as Legal Counsel at Navis Capital Partners — one of Asia's largest private equity firms — and practised at Christopher & Lee Ong prior to founding the firm.
